Unitas serves lunch again

Unitas has reopened its lunch facilities. The problems with the new kitchen equipment were resolved last week.

With the opening of the new, smaller kitchen, the menu has changed slightly. The popular pancakes served on Tuesdays have had to make way for bapao steamed buns. ‘After the mensa closed officially last summer, our old mensa cook started making pancakes voluntarily. But now there’s not enough room in the new kitchen to prepare and keep over a hundred pancakes warm at lunchtime,’ says Unitas committee member Arda Beckers with regret. The dinners prepared by and for Unitas members also started again this week.
