To Helsinki on a Rubicon grant

Wageningen researcher Henjo de Knegt has won a Rubicon grant from the Dutch research organization NWO, enabling him to spend two years at the University of Helsinki.

An ecologist, De Knegt is researching how the movement of individual organisms affects group dynamics and what the influence of landscape is on the process. Of the 29 Rubicon grants, which are for giving young researchers a chance to spend some time working abroad, only one went to Wageningen this year.
