Tick duty

They are becoming a familiar sight, the sheep that are grazing the Wageningen campus for the third summer in a row.

They keep the grass down of course, but now the sheep can prepare for an additional task. They have landed the main part in a trial by Wageningen UR and shepherd Henry Hoiting, of a method of clearing an area of ticks. The sheep play vacuum cleaner.
