Student dies after motorcycle accident

Bram Frencken, a Wageningen student, has passed away after a motorcycle accident.

The second year Biotechnology student was a member of rowing club Argo and lived in student house 'Voor Pampus' in Wageningen. He was also a member of student society KSV Fransiscus in which he was active in its drinks club 'Vogelvrij': a group of eight friends who hang out at the pub on Monday evenings. A condolence register is opened in KSV this evening.
Trial run
Last Friday, Bram made a trial run on a motorcycle in Stoutenburg, Leusden. For reasons still unknown, he lost control of the motorcycle, which then glided on for several ten metres before Bram hit a tree.
A doctor flew to the spot in a trauma helicopter and accompanied him in an ambulance  to the hospital, under police escort. He passed away there as a result of the injuries sustained.
RTV Utrecht filmed the site of the accident.
Bram Frencken was 21 years old. The cremation will take place on Friday in Eindhoven.
