Student cleared of attempted assault

A Wageningen student, who was accused of attempting assault a female Chinese corridor mate, has been cleared of charges. The court in Arnhem declared him not guilty. The student had also been accused of stalking the student. The judge dismissed the public prosecutor’s claim the charges contained no explicit request to prosecute for stalking. The incident took place two years ago. / YdH
