This is the jewel in Orion's crown: the floating lecture theatre between the ground floor and the third floor.

The chairs are in, the podium still has to be finished. With 700 seats it will be Wageningen's largest lecture room. When that capacity is not needed, the room can easily be split into smaller units. The grooves for the partitions are visible.
Orion will be finished in April and the first lectures will take place on Monday 6 May. The building will be opened officially on 2 September. The soon-to-be queen Maxima has been approached, but there is no confirmation yet of her coming.  GvC, photo Guy Ackermans
