RSI licence

Wageningen computer users suffered a day without the software that protects against mouse arms and computer elbow this week.
The licence of the Workpace programme expired on 28 March and had not been renewed in time, as negotiations took longer than planned. Not only were users confronted with a programme that was not functioning, but they also received continuous reminders that they had to re-register while they could not do so. Once the contract negotiations had been finalised the Dutch distributor was still not able to release the new codes required. Enquiries at the ICT department of Facilities Management resulted in the information that the codes required were still in New Zealand, where the mother company of the software supplier is located. All problems were resolved by Tuesday afternoon.
