Piggy Bank

A nice full piggy bank: that's what Wageningen students had to offer minister Maxime Verhagen on his visit to the Wageningen campus on 31 January.

A symbolic donation from the student council to encourage the minister to invest more in higher education. Verhagen, who gave a guest lecture to several hundred students and staff, knew exactly what to do with the cash: he gave it straight to Wageningen board chair Aalt Dijkhuizen.
