Organic change

Students and staff of the MSc programme in Organic Agriculture are working together with the director of the Education Institute, Professor Pim Brascamp, to revise the study programme. At the beginning of March the students expressed their dissatisfaction with the content of the programme to the rector Professor Martin Kropff. They complained that there is not enough course content related to organic agriculture, and also that they do not have enough choice of courses.
The working group is looking at whether it will be possible to introduce a new minor, as a replacement for the BSc in Organic Production Sciences, that was disbanded earlier this year due to lack of interest. / JH
