An ode to the planet at the country's greenest university - some thought went into that.
On Saturday evening, 2 June, an orchestra of one hundred musicians gathered at the heart of the campus, on Forum's ground floor, to play the spectacular piece Planet Earth by Dutch composer Johan de Meij. The orchestra, OBK & Friends, was formed especially for the occasion around Bennekom concert band OBK. The band with its sixty or so musicians was joined by forty musical friends and a choir from Midden-Gelderland Choir School. It was the third time De Meij's symphony, an ode to planet earth, had been performed in the Netherlands. The audience numbered four hundred.
