No shortage

Student accommodation office SSHW does not expect problems with student housing in Wageningen in the coming years. Those who opposed the demolition of the Rijnsteeg apartment complex were worried that the resulting decrease in the number of rooms would coincide with the move of Van Hall Larenstein to Wageningen, creating a shortage of rooms. Going by the current number of enrolments, SSHW expects to have offered all first-year students a room by December. From July to September, Dutch students with a long journey receive priority for housing. / JH
