New double degree

Wageningen University and the University of Bonn signed an agreement this week to start a joint economics study programme that will enable students to obtain two Master’s degrees. The double-degree programme will take two and a half years and will be open to students at both universities. They will spend the first year at their own university, the second year at the other one, and for the last six months they can choose where they write up their dissertation. The students will receive supervision from lecturers at both universities. On graduation Bonn will award an MSc in Food and Resource Economics, and the Wageningen title will be MSc in Management, Economics and Consumer Studies. / JH
