Job market rosy

Of the Dutch speaking Wageningen students who graduated last year, two-thirds to three-quarters already had a job before graduation. Alumni association KLV has just published data on employment.

In the period between 2000 and 2005, about half of those graduating already had a job by the time they got their degree, according to a survey of the job market published two weeks ago. With the upswing in the economy in 2006, there was a noticeable change: last year over three-quarters of the graduates found a job immediately. This year the figure is a little lower: 65 percent. The KLV figures refer to the Dutch students seeking work.
