Idealis puts a stop to room-sharing

Idealis plans to change the locks on all its student flats this year, after which it will be made less easy for students to obtain duplicate keys.

These steps are being taken for security reasons, says Idealis. The organization feels that residents are sometimes too casual about the duplicate keys and that increased the security risks. Double residency is a second issue. Once the locks have been changes, residents will only be issued duplicate keys on certain conditions. And the return of all keys will be more strictly monitored.
