Horse in head office

Last weekend was the open day for Wageningen University and Van Hall Larenstein. A total of 1034 prospective university students came to look around, over a hundred more than last year. Larenstein attracted about three hundred visitors, more than expected given that the school for professional education will not actually be located in Wageningen until 2006. One of the crowd pullers was a horse in the head office, representing the major Equine, leisure and sports offered by Larenstein. The horse course attracts not only Dutch students, but also many young people from Germany. Larenstein was pleased with the number of visitors, considering that it is still another two years before they move into the Forum building. / YdH
