SSR-W student organisation threw a ‘trick or treat’ party to celebrate Halloween on Tuesday, with a prize for the most frightening costume.

The winner gets to go on a skiing holiday and can choose from three destinations. SSR-W got the prize from a sponsor. The winner will be chosen by a jury of SSR-W members from photos taken during the party. Halloween comes from Irish and Celtic rituals; people dressed up in disguise to scare away the bad spirits. The tradition of giving away food was supposed to lead to prosperity. / YdH
