H1N1 flu virus

Sick leave figures normal

Four Wageningen UR employees have been down with the H1N1 flu virus in the past two weeks. That brings the total to fourteen, says Andrea Heissman, company doctor at corporate HRM. It is only a guess that they had the H1N1 strain of flu; no lab tests were carried out.
The average numbers off sick have not been significantly higher than last year. Between 15 October and 15 November an average of 3.28 of the six thousand employees was ill. In the same period in 2008, the figure was 3.24 percent.
