Gnome takeover

Five gnomes occupied the pedestal of the statue De Zaaier in front of the Administration building in the early hours of Monday 19 June. According to Professor Pim Brascamp, director of the Education Institute, a well-known early riser, the gnomes ‘appeared suddenly’. I have a good view from my office, but at seven o’clock the gnomes weren’t there.’ The statue De Zaaier (the sower) is being restored at the moment. It is expected to return at the beginning of July. / GvM
