Dropping in on the neighbours

Researcher Menno ter Veld gave a talk about fish, corals, sea horses and cuttlefish on Friday 22 March. Not to external visitors this time, but to Wageningen UR colleagues.

Last week was the first ‘Drop in on the neighbours week’. Almost 500 staff members signed up for a look behind the scenes at a neighbour’s. Sixty people visited the accommodation for animals used in experiments. The algaePARC was popular too, with more than a hundred visitors. The best attended lectures were those given by ecologist Marten Scheffer, who talked to 80 staff members about tipping points in nature and society.
