Resource will continue to be delivered to the doorsteps of Dutch student houses and flats. This reverses an earlier decision to stop this practice.
The Resource edition of 30 August contained a statement saying that the magazine will no longer be delivered to Dutch student houses and flats in Wageningen. This measure was taken to cut costs following a fall in advertising income. The announcement has given rise to so many upsetting remarks that the publisher and editor-in-chief has withdrawn his decision. Other ways to make the necessary reduction in costs have yet to be looked into.
A letter was sent to student residences and departments before the summer vacation to ask them how many copies of Resource they would like to receive. The occupants who have not responded will as a rule be given two copies from now on. Those who wish otherwise can contact resource.wur.nl.
