Copy problems solved

The problems with the new copy and printer system seem to be over. Most copying machines are now connected to the new system and the programming problems have been solved. Students can top up their copy credits by giving permission at the topping up machines to have a chosen amount of money transferred from their chipknip to their copy credit. Until recently it sometimes happened that your money disappeared into the system if you took longer than twenty seconds to confirm the transaction: the Dutch chipknip equipment and the Canadian credit top-up system had compatibility problems. These have now been solved. Herco van Gelder of facilities management is relieved: ‘It saves me a lot of work, and I’ve had no complaints since the problem was corrected.’ / JH
