Chinese students introduced to life in Wageningen

Last Sunday, 14 September, the Chinese Association of Students and Scholars
in Wageningen (CASSW) and the ISOW jointly organised a meeting for Chinese
students. About sixty people, including many students who just had arrived
from China, visited the meeting that was held at the new ISOW location at
Gen. Foulkesweg 1a. The audience were given tips on travelling around
Europe and lectures on Dutch culture, studying at Wageningen UR and life in
Wageningen.
CASSW-president Sanwen Huang stressed that the association he heads aims at
collaboration with ISOW. “The Chinese population is by far the largest
among the international students, but we should make one community.
Therefore we also suggest that the number of Chinese students should be
limited to 20% of the international students.
