Best lecturer is a student

Lisa Schwarzin, a German, has been chosen by students as the best lecturer for 2011.

Schwarzin is still studying herself, doing Leisure, Tourism and Environment. She also gives the Applied Environmental Education and Communication course with Arjen Wals, for which she was given the highest score. Her teaching bonus amounts to twenty thousand euros. She is currently developing a Minor based on a new teaching method known as transformative teaching.
The Executive Board is handing out a total of one million euros in teaching bonuses. The 25 courses with the highest scores are also getting extra money. The Land Dynamics group is getting the biggest bonus: 76 thousand euros for three courses.
