Bacteria make mincemeat of malaria larvae


According to a visiting entomologist there is a different and above all
more efficient way to fight malaria. He stumbled on a forgotten success
story from the 1930s which gave him the idea to search for an eradication
method that concentrates on the larval form of the mosquito rather than the
adult. Willem Koert spoke to Dr Bart Knols, recently returned from Kenya.
