It almost seemed like an intervention from above.
The ‘dead tree', the art work in front of the Forum, suddenly had the company of a small, green relative this summer. A sunflower, as it turned out, and one that grew like a weed. But a coincidence it certainly was not. The flower sprouted from one of the seeds sown around the campus by SHARE (Formerly Happy JMA). Why? To cheer us up, as always. It worked well this time. As long as it lasted, that is. Because the flower has now been removed and the art work stands as it is intended to. Winter is on its way.
