Kopshuis to test extended opening hours
Kopshuis to test extended opening hours
For several years the International Student Panel has been hammering away at the issue of the opening hours for the central library. The main argument put forward by the ISP is the fact that MSc students have courses during daytime. Because of the tight working schedule, they have very little time to search for literature. Schippers explains that the purpose of extending the opening hours of the central library is to offer services for literature searches. This requires qualified personnel. The trial period of three months is to be used to assess the specific needs for these services. After an evaluation a decision will be made on whether or not to continue.
