The second nominee for the Teacher of the Year Award 2018 has made the shortlist for the second time. The associate professor at Animal Sciences was surprised during a consultation with a group of ACT students.
‘I am completely astonished’, said the emotional lecturer who has been working in the Adaptation Physiology group in Wageningen since 2001. Besides carrying out research and supervising PhD candidates, this nominee also teaches courses at both the bachelor’s and master’s levels.
