In a referendum in June the British population will express if England is to remain part of the European Union. Prior to this referendum the National Farmers Union (NFU) wants to determine their position. That is why the agricultural organization has asked the LEI to analyse various scenarios of a possible Brexit.

‘The Wageningen research must make it clear which elements in the agriculture and trade policy the NFU needs to cherish and emphasize in their lobby when the referendum leads England to leave the European Union’, the director of the agricultural organization stated in the British press. The LEI research needs to be ready by the end of March.
