Council disagrees with Dijkhuizen

The four central representative bodies do not agree with the criticism of Executive Board chairman Aalt Dijkhuizen that their proposal for a new representative structure changes ‘almost nothing’. The councils say their proposal will lead to more efficient meetings.

The heads of the four councils have written a letter to Resource, in which they argue that the structure, consisting of four councils, is complicated because of the complex structure of Wageningen UR. The representative councils will discuss the proposal with the Executive Board next week. Dijkhuizen said last week that he was ‘deeply disappointed’ with the plan.
