Silent protest against work station survey

The management of the Plant Sciences Group has started an investigation this week on the use of office space in Radix. The plant researchers are not happy about the survey, as they fear it will lead to their already full offices getting even fuller.

Their fears are based on an an internal memo from the PSF management saying it is looking for space in Radix for the Molecular Genetics chair group from Utrecht and for Farm Technology, of the AFSG. What is more, the management wants to accommodate the staff now in the prefabs behind the building in Radix as well. So this week 'head counters' are walking around the building to check whether work stations are in use. A few staff members have been putting inflatable dolls in their seats when they leave their desks.'
