Reviving at the end of the AID

What? AID music festivalWho? Handsome Poets, The Hype and the Shantel & Bucovina Club OrkestarWhere? AID tent on campusHow much? Free for new students, 10 euros for others (see aid.wur.nl)

First-years are almost on their knees by the last day of the AID. It is a short week but it is packed with new experiences, faces and information. What is more, your poor brain has to process all this in a fast food and alcohol-induced state of confusion. Luckily this year’s closing music festival is likely to revive you one last time. The programme includes bands that are sure to get you jumping around again as if you could still feel your legs. The evening kicks off with the Britpop of The Hype and the catchy music of the 3FM hit group Handsome Poets. And the closing act is the German DJ and musician Shantel known chiefly for his traditional Balkan music. Afterwards the party will continue at the various societies. Good luck with recovering in time to start your courses.
