If all the concerts are sold out more than 10,000 Chinese will get the chance to enjoy the orchestra’s music. The tour is being arranged and financed by S&L Cultural Exchange Holland. The students only have to pay their own travel costs, and they are hoping to find sponsors for this. De Ontzetting leaves for Shanghai on 26 December 2012.
Ontzetting in China
Wageningen student orchestra De Ontzetting will be making a two-week tour of China at the end of the year, during which it will give five concerts in the Shanghai area.
