International students are happiest living in a mixed corridor with Dutch and international students from different countries. This is the conclusion from a survey recently carried out for Stichting Flatoverleg (SFO) among international students in six of the larger SSHW complexes.
One of the most noticeable conclusions arising from the survey is that students with a completely independent room and those with no facilities at all are most content. International students also find it important that corridor mates respect each other. The one thing a number of students miss is a common living room where corridor mates can do things together.
