The D66 minister was keen to show her face in Wageningen, which has ‘a great name in the world’, she says. For the coming years she is targeting the UN’s sustainable development goals. She and Fresco sought a ‘shared vision on the world’ with a view to achieving those goals and establishing a form of development cooperation in which government, research institutions and companies work together.
