The University welcomed 172 new students in the first week of February, most of them from abroad (with 44 different nationalities represented this year). The students were treated to a range of activities such as a pub quiz and a tour of the town. The bite-the-cake game was part of a Friday night ‘cultural evening’ at ISOW, the international students’ association.
