Walking, mountain biking, climbing and kayaking for days on end (eight days in the last World Cup) in a team of four. Non-stop, with as little sleep as possible, heading for the finish with a map and a compass. A sport for a select few. ‘You need a kind of stubbornness,’ says Harm Bartholomeus about his chosen sport. ‘And fitness of course. But it is largely mental.’ Why do people do this sport of thing? Hmm. ‘That is the one question you must not ask yourself during the competition.’ For the World Cup adventure see: http://www.facebook.com/DutchBionix.
