Flying horse

Many Wageningen residents got a surprise when they looked up at the sky on Monday 21 May.

What was a zeppelin doing there, floating about the town for half an hour? It’s all part of the Pan-European Gas-AeroSOls climate-interaction Study. With a nod in the direction of the flying horse of Greek mythology: Pegasus. Wageningen climate scientists play a leading role in this monitoring study, intended to lead to a fuller understanding of the link between air quality and climate change.
