There was a loud bang last Tuesday on the corner of the Bornsesteeg and the Stippeneng.

At about seven thirty pm, a bus full of drunken football supporters rammed into three cars. One burst into flames, the other two ended up upside down on the verge. Fire engine and ambulance crews turned out in force to put out the flames and rescue the passengers. They had to keep the drunken supporters at bay too.
The fire was out in a couple of hours. The ‘victims' could recuperate in Actio, take off their makeup and look back with satisfaction on a successful fire drill.
