Extra rooms open for self study

The rooms on the sixth floor of Forum are opened because of a shortage of study areas in the library.

According to student council party VeSte, there is a big shortage of study areas, particularly during the self-study weeks and the weeks in which examinations are held. Therefore, the university has agreed to open extra rooms during these weeks. More rooms will be made available not only in the coming re-examination week, but also in the fourth week of the next period. Willemijn Sneller of VeSte also looks further ahead. ‘This is in line with our attempt to create more study areas in general. If this works well, the rooms will be opened again in future during the busiest weeks.
