Alex van der Meer, a lecturer in Forest and Nature Management at Van Hall Larenstein, is running for a good cause.
A Spanish graduate of Wageningen University, Van der Meer is pinning his hopes on being among the first ten to cross the finishing line in the Rotterdam marathon. He’s currently training ten hours a week and has decided to combine his athletic activity with collecting money from sponsors for an orphanage in Ethiopia, a country known for its long-distance runners. If you want to contribute a few euros based on his km/hour average, send a mail to email('Alex','email@example.com');
