More than 700 employees have signed a call for a better collective labour agreement (CAO) for DLO staff.

On Thursday 16 April, the trade unions will hand over all the cards with signatures to Tijs Breukink, the responsible member of the Executive Board. Handing out these cards was the first action by the trade unions since the CAO negotiations broke down in December 2014. The unions hope to force Wageningen UR to come up with a better pay offer than the current proposal of a 1.9 percent salary increase. DLO and the unions have been negotiating for a new CAO for about two years now and have currently reached an impasse.
