text: Linda van der Nat14:57u 14 March 2012 - It's our birthday, so we'll give you a treat, so thinks SSR-W. This student society celebrates its sixteenth lustrum this year and will hold a pie throwing battle on the market square on Friday.
The throwing and hurling will start at 4 pm and everyone can join in. SSR-W will provide the pies.
The event hasn't got the nod from everyone though, going by reactions on Facebook. A number of students call this 'a waste of food' and feel that Wageningen students should not take part in such an unsustainable event.

it is a waste. they should do some dumpster diving before and they can throw that wasted food at themselves all they want.
